DAS are pleased to support a number of prizes and awards for exceptional contribution and achievement to the field of airway management. Listed below are the current awards and prizes offered.

Adrian Pierce Award:

For disseminating the art and science of airway management. This is to honour one of our key founders, Adrian Pearce, a Consultant Anaesthetist at Guy’s hospital

Macewan Medal:

The DAS Medal is a prestigious mark of excellence awarded to a member for contribution to the society and airway management and is awarded yearly at the Society’s ASM.

DAS Professor:

The DAS Medal is a prestigious mark of excellence awarded to a member for contribution to the society and airway management and is awarded yearly at the Society’s ASM.

DAS Fellowship (FDAS):

DAS is delighted to announce the Difficult Airway Society Fellow (DAS Fellow) award. This award recognises and rewards contributions of DAS members to the field of airway management, DAS and the specialty through education, research, clinical leadership and societal involvement.
