2-DAY NAW
Is an advanced adult & paediatric difficult airway management course suitable for all grades of anaesthetists, nurses/ODPs and other specialties like A&E, Intensive Care Respiratory Physicians who want to learn advance airway techniques.
- Delegates are taught extensive hands-on practical skills.
- Each participating doctor will perform Flexible Bronchoscopic Intubation (FBI) on an anaesthetised patient, under supervision
- Update DAS/APA/OAA difficult airway guidelines
- ATI including VL & VAFI on a manikin
- FB on manikin, including use of Aintree catheter and 2nd generation SAD etc
- Videolaryngoscopes and other difficult airway management devices
- FONA – Surgical & Needle

- Human factor
- Ultrasound gastric & neck
- Scenario-based discussion
