Coventry Airway Lab sesion- DAS Extubation guidelines and Front of Neck Access

This session reviews the Difficult Airway Society Extubation Guidelines. It aims to increase understanding of the guidelines and compares the at risk extubation with the low risk extubation.

Management of the at risk extubation is discussed in the form case scenarios.

Plan D of the Difficult Airway Society Guidelines on front of neck access is reviewed. Candidates will gain hands on experience in practicing surgical cricothyroidotomy.
