The award winning Society for Head and Neck Anesthesia (SHANA, www.shanahq.com) is accepting submissions for its official on-line Journal of Head and Neck Anesthesia (JoHNA). The publications are free for SHANA members, and may include case reports, reviews, original research papers, as well as the annotated video, Power Point and poster presentations. All publications are peer reviewed, and will be retrospectively indexed in PubMed; PubMed listing for JoHNA is expected in 2018.
SHANA is one of the fastest growing international society of physicians, and is dedicated to improving perioperative care of patients undergoing H&N surgeries through clinical care, education and research. It has over 600 members worldwide. Each month SHANA website averages 50,000 hits, nearly 2,000 visits, over 8,300 pages viewed, and has nearly 1,200 unique returning visitors.
