Dear DAS Member,

We are pleased to announce the September 2021 edition of the Difficult Airway Society E-Zine.

In this issue we are delighted to welcome new education and social media leads to the committee, as well as bidding farewell and good luck to others who are moving on. Dr Mark Barley delivers a fantastic educational piece in the first of a two-part series on processed EEG. Professor Ellen O’Sullivan writes about adapting the Advanced Airway Masterclass to suit new public health measures during the pandemic. We continue our clinical dilemma series with a case which had our experts scratching their heads, and we reveal how the case was managed by the team in real life. We also have a record number of trainee contributions in this issue - keep them coming!

We have optimised the E-Zine to work on mobile devices using a new platform, Issuu. There are three ways to read:

1. In your browser on a computer or smartphone - click on the link below.

https://issuu.com/difficultairwaysociety/docs/das_ezine_september_2021

2. In the app - download the ‘Issuu' app, click on the link above, and scroll up to “open in the Issuu app”.

3. QR code - Access the E-Zine by opening the camera app on a smart phone and hovering over the graphic.

We hope you enjoy reading this edition!
