We are pleased to announce that the nominations are open for the post of DAS Trainee Representative 2017
- Nominations open from today to 5pm on 12th November 2016.
- Voting will at the Annual Members Meeting at the Torquay ASM on November 18th.
- Results to be announced at that time
- The tenure of DAS Trainee Rep will be for a period of two years from date of announcement. The post will be staggered by one year with a second trainee rep.
- Applicants should be a DAS member.
Nominations for the post of DAS Trainee Rep, need to be seconded (by a DAS member), including a personal statement.
The trainee representative should be post FRCA / FFARCSI.
Trainees will require to be a minimum of 18 months from their CCT date to be eligible (and hence can continue 6 months post-CCT). Their role will largely relate to the development of educational material for the DAS website; addressing the needs of the RCOA curriculum in terms of airway management and providing a trainee perspective on matters arising within the committee. They shall be mentored by one of the DAS committee.
